Morongo Casino to hold job fairs

Morongo Casino Resort & Spa is scheduled to hold two job fairs in July.

The first is scheduled to be held from noon to 2 p.m. July 5, the second from 10 a.m. to noon July 19, according to a statement.

Both events will be held at the Morongo Grand Ballroom. Positions are available in cash operations, count room, entertainment, food and beverage, hospitality, housekeeping, promotions, public safety and surveillance, and the Morongo Travel Center.

Some on-the-spot offers are possible. Tribal officials ultimately hope to fill about 150 positions as a result of both job fairs.

“We are pleased to continue our hiring efforts throughout July and to provide opportunities to world-class hospitality professionals to join our team,” said Richard St. Jean, Morongo’s chief operating officer, in the statement. “We welcome individuals with all types of hospitality experience who may be seeking a role in the casino or in the new Marketplace food hall.”

Candidates should complete an online application prior to attending the event, available at http://www.morongocasinoresort.com/employment.
Morongo Casino Resort & Spa is next to Interstate 10 at 49500 Seminole Dr., Cabazon. It is owned and operated by the Morongo Band of Mission Indians.
