Moreno Valley now has a second electric vehicle manufacturer.
AYRO Inc., is now working alongside Karma Automotive at its facility at 17100 Perris Blvd., according to a statement on the city’s website.
“AYRO is exactly the kind of forward-thinking company we want in Moreno Valley,” said Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez in the statement. “AYRO is a perfect companion to Karma Automotive’s manufacturing facility, and we are thrilled for the opportunities this partnership will bring.”
Karma Automotive opens in Moreno Valley in 2015. It has joined with AYRO Inc. to produce sustainable cargo and fleet vehicles designed for micro-distribution, according to the statement.
