MoVal sets up vaccination clinic

COVID-19 vaccination shots are available at the former Sears building at the Moreno Valley Mall.

Vaccinations are now being given to those eligible under Phase 1, Tiers 1A and 1B, including residents 65 and older, according to a statement on the city’s website.

“We have been working with the County for some time, advocating for a Moreno Valley mass-vaccination site and securing an effective location,” said Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez in the statement. “Locating a site in Riverside County’s second-largest city will help speed up the vaccination process and improve safety countywide, and I urge all adults to get vaccinated as soon as you qualify for a shot.”

Moreno Valley Mall is located at 22550 Town Circle. Appointments can be scheduled at www.rivcoph.org/COVID-19-Vaccine-with-Registration.
