Upland City Councilman Brendan Brandt will not seek reelection this November.
Brandt, a council member for 12 years, announced at the end of Monday’s council meeting that he will step down when his current term ends, according to a report in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.
Brandt was elected to the council in 2002 and was reelected in 2006 and 2010. He is chairman of the city’s Finance and Economic Development Committee and the City/School Committee, according to the report.
