Cynthia Caruso has been named chief executive officer of the Southern California Fair.
Caruso will be in charge of off-track wagering and will coordinate all non-fair activities, according to a statement.
She will also be responsible for Harrison Hall, the fairgrounds’ banquet hall and wedding facility.
Caruso’s appointment was announced earlier this month. She has held a number of positions since joining then fair 11 years ago, including human resource officer and contracting person.
The Southern California Fair is held every October at Lake Perris Fairgrounds. Its attractions include the Lake Perris Sports Pavilion, Perris Auto Speedway, motocross and go-cart racing, according to then statement.
