Nicole Robinson has been named an Educator of the Year by the California League of High Schools.
Robinson, a dance instructor at A.B. Miller High School in Fontana, received the honor in the league’s Division 10, which includes Riverside, San Bernardino, Inyo and Mono counties, according to a report in The Press-Enterprise.
The league honors teachers who demonstrate outstanding teaching talent while helping to bring about educational reform.
Robinson has taught at A.B. Miller for 20 years, during which time the school opened its Conservatory of Dance Program for students in the Fontana Unified School District, according to the report.
