Redlands will soon have a new multiplex.
Harkins Mountain Grove 16 is scheduled to open with a weekend-long grand opening celebration that will start March 24, according to a statement posted on the city’s website.
The complex, which will be located at Mountain Grove in Citrus Plaza, will be the third multiplex in the Inland Empire to be owned and operated by Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Harkins Theatres. The other two are in Chino Hills and Moreno Valley.
Harkins Mountain Grove 16 will feature a CINE Auditorium with more than 400 seats, a laser projector, a screen in excess of 80 square feet and Dolby-based 3D sound. The project will also include a children’s play area and gourmet snack bar.
All of the project’s auditoriums will include reserved seating, reclining lounge seats, curved wall-to-wall screens and state-of-the-art digital projection and sound.
