Stater Bros. will hold a grand opening for its third store in Menifee.
The store, at 29061 Newport Road, is part of the Shoppes at the Lakes on the east side of town, according to a statement released Wednesday.
A ceremony is scheduled to be held at 8 a.m. Wednesday, with the store slated to open immediately afterward. Its regular hours will be 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Kelvin Austin, who has worked for State Bros. for more than 19 years, will be its manager.
The market covers 42,112-square feet, standard size for a neighborhood Stater Bros. store. It includes a meat and seafood department, a full-service delicatessen, bakery and a cafe and seating area equipped with free Wi-Fi.
Based in San Bernardino, Stater Bros. Markets Inc. operates 169 stores and employs approximately 18,000 people. It’s the largest private employer in the Inland Empire and the largest privately owned supermarket chain in Southern California, according to the statement.
