Frontier Communications Corp. has named Crosby Smith general manager of its Southern California low desert market, a territory that includes much of Riverside County, the company announced Thursday.
Smith will oversee operations, community engagement and market growth, while overseeing the delivery of broadband, video and voice services to more than 600,000 businesses and households, according to a statement.
He will be based in Palm Springs.
Before joining Frontier, Smith was vice president and general manager of Black Box Network Services’s western region, where he merged several IT infrastructure and service organization’s into Black Box’s western regional business. He was in charge of 600 people in 24 states, according to the statement.
