On The Move

The last remaining member of the original Chino Hills City Council is stepping down.

Ed Graham was elected to the council in November 1991, the same day Chino Hill residents voted to incorporate, according to statement on the city’s website.

Graham’s resignation was effective July 7.

“After 26 years of attending council meetings and countless others, it was just time,” Graham said in the statement. “I want to spend more time traveling with my wife Denise and with our three young grandkids.  We treasure our hours with them.”

California law mandates that the city has 60 days from the official date of resignation to either fill the vacancy or call for a special election.

Anyone appointed or elected to replace Graham will fill out the remainder of his term, which will end Nov. 6, 2018, according to the statement.
