Darren Feldman has been named Cal Fire Unit Chief for San Bernardino County.
Feldman, a 1983 graduate of Pacific High School, has worked for Cal Fire since 1985, when the agency was known as the California Department of Forestry, according to a report in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.
Feldman, who has worked at city and forest stations, succeeds Unit Chief Rod Bywater, who retired recently, the report stated.
