Citizens Business Bank has hired Donald Toussaint to oversee its newly formed Commercial Banking Center in Oxnard.

Toussaint will hold the title executive vice president and regional manager for the Ontario-based financial institution, according to a statement released Tuesday.

“Don is a great addition to the Citizens Business Bank team, bringing over 30 years experience in commercial banking and wealth management,” said Christopher D. Myers, president and chief executive officer of Citizens Business Bank, in the statement. “Our new location represents an important and strategic expansion for the bank. Don is the right individual to lead our growth initiative in the Ventura County/Santa Barbara County markets.”

Toussaint most recently worked with Rabobank N.A., which deals primarily with farmers, ranchers and the agricultural industry in California. He is a board member with Economic Forecasting Project at the University of California, Santa Barbara, according to the statement.
