A San Bernardino developer is planning to bring an Ono Hawaiian BBQ to the city.
Realicor Real Estate Group will develop a free-standing building near 5th and H streets where the fast-casual chain will locate, according to Progressive Real Estate Partners in Rancho Cucamonga.
Progressive negotiated a build-to-suit lease agreement with Realicor that calls for a 2,285-square-foot building to be constructed on a vacant parcel at 539 H St.
That property is near a Starbucks, a Del Taco, a 7-Eleven gas/convenience store, a Sonic and a Quick Quack Car Wash. It is also across the street from an In-N-Out Burger and a Panda Express.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Ono Hawaiian BBQ has more than 100 restaurants in California and Arizona, including 20 in Riverside and San Bernardino counties. This will be its first in San Bernardino, according to the company’s website.
