The Ontario International Airport Authority’s board of commissioners has elected new leadership.
Ron Loveridge was named board president and Debra Porada vice president during the Sept. 1 board meeting, according to a statement on the airport’s website.
Loveridge, former Riverside mayor, has been a board member since it was formed in 2012. Porada, Ontario’s mayor pro tem, has been on the board since 2019.
The statement does not say how long each will serve in those positions, although board terms typically last for one year.
Commissioners Julia Gouw, Jim Bowman were named treasurer and secretary, respectively.
Tuesday’s meeting was the first since FBI agents raided the homes of commission member Curt Hagman and Alan Wapner, a former commission member on July 28. Hagman is a San Bernardino County Supervisor, Wapner, an Ontario council member.
No charges have been filed. Hagman reportedly attended the board of supervisors meeting Tuesday, which was held the same time as the airport authority board meeting.
