Ontario International Airport accommodated more than 3.4 million passengers during the first six months of this year.
That was a nearly two percent increase compared with the first half of 2025, and the best half-year total since the airport was returned to local control 10 years ago, according to the Ontario International Airport Authority.
More than 346,000 international travelers used Ontario International during the first six months of 2026, a year-over-year increase of nearly 46 percent. The five airlines with the top passenger percentages were Southwest Airline (36.5), American Airlines (14.4), Alaska Airlines (10.7), Frontier Airlines (10.4), and Delta Airlines (9.3).
Ontario International processed more than 428,000 tons of air cargo during the first half of this year, up 7.6% from 2025, the authority reported.
