Ontario International Airport just recorded its best June ever.
659,787 passengers passed through Ontario International last month, a 1.1 percent increase from June 2024 according to a statement on the airport’s website.
The airport’s previous June record was set in 2007, when 653,000 travelers flew in and out of Ontario International.
June was Ontario International’s 52nd consecutive month of year-over passenger count increases.
It was also a good month for international travel.
47,504 international travelers passed through Ontario International last month, the airport’s highest ever international count for one month. The previous record – 45,012 – was set in January 2024.
That increase was partly due to the start of service by STARLUX Airlines in Taiwan, which operates four weekly roundtrip flights between Ontario International and Taiwan.
Ontario International accommodated 3.3 million passengers during the first six months of 2025, 0.9 percent more than the same period last year, according to the statement.
