Ontario International Airport’s passenger count continued to grow in March.
The airport accommodated 560,000 travelers last month, the 49th consecutive month its passenger count has grown, according to data released April 16 by the Ontario International Airport Authority.
Domestic passengers totaled 520,938 in March, a one-percent year-over-year increase. Its international traffic count – 38,681 – was a a 5.8 percent decline.
During the first three months of 2025, 1.4 million passengers passed through Ontario International, essentially unchanged from the first three months of 2024.
“We are grateful for the continued confidence of our airline partners and passengers who make Ontario the airport of choice in Southern California,” said Atif Elkadi, the authority’s chief executive officer, in a statement. “The continued increase in passenger volume comes as we prepare to welcome new flights and destinations this summer, further connecting our region to the world.”
