Pallet management company sold

An Inland Empire company that manages and recycles pallets has been sold.

Houston-based 48forty Solutions recently purchased Dependable Pallet Logistics in Fontana, according a statement.

Terms of transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1995, Dependable currently employs more than 100 people. It operates a pallet manufacturing facility, a teardown-recycling plant, a lumber yard and a yard where it parks and store tractors and trailers.

“Becoming a part of 48forty Solutions will provide us with resources to help expand our reach in the market and provide faster turnaround times for our customers,” said Cain Sanchez, Dependable’s owner, in the statement.

48forty Solutions operates 258 pallet management facilities in North America, making it one of the largest pallet management companies on the continent, according to the statement.
