Palm Springs International Airport will conduct a public meeting regarding future development at the airport.
The Master Plan Open House is scheduled to be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 4 at the Palm Springs Convention Center.
The session will cover several topics regarding the future of the city-owned airport, including solar panels, taxiway improvements, and space for vertiport use. A vertiport is used by electric-powered vehicles whose propellers, or rotors, allow them to take off vertically, hover in place, and fly horizontally.
The convention center is at 277 N. Avenida Caballeros. The session, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Room Primrose CD. Free parking will be available in the lot on East Andreas Road.
