Palm Springs International Airport will hold a public meeting regarding future development.
The Master Plan Open House is scheduled to be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Palm Springs Convention Center, according to a statement on the city’s website.
“The event will allow the community to hear about the progress that has been made in the master planning process, and for the public to share their preferences for the future development of the airport,” the statement reads.
Airport officials are asking for opinions on several possible future layouts for the airport, which began as a military installation during World War II and today is owned by the city.
The final master plan will include a ‘single vision’ for the airport, including costs and proposed phasing schedules, according to the statement.
The meeting is free and registration is not required. Free parking is available in the East Andreas Road parking lot.
