Palm Springs Plaza Theatre Foundation to hold fundraiser

The Palm Springs Plaza Theatre Foundation will hold a fundraiser April 19 at the Prescott Collection Hangar in Palm Springs, home to a private collection of more than 100 vintage automobiles.

“Drive the Plaza Theatre Into the Future” will raise money for the restoration of the historic downtown Plaza Theatre, which is expected to take about a year and a half to renovate, according to statement.

The foundation has raised $15 million towards the renovation but needs about $10 million more to pay for construction costs, contingencies and startup expenses.

Tickets are $250 for VIP admission, which includes a private tour of collector Brad Prescott’s favorite automobiles. General admission tickets are $100.

The event will be held from 5-6 pm for the VIP admission and 6-8 pm for general admission. The address will be provided when guests RSVP at https://tinyurl.com/CarHangar.  For more information visit SaveThePlazaTheatrePS.org
