Park named executive chef

Albert Park has been named executive chef at the South Coast Winery Resort & Spa in Temecula.

Park will be in charge of culinary operations at The Vineyard Rose Restaurant, the resort’s signature attraction, while also overseeing the Vineyard Grill at South Coast Winery’s sister property Carter Estate Winery and Resort, also in Temecula, according to a statement.

He will be responsible for in-room dining at both locations and menus for meetings, weddings and special occasions.

“Chef Albert brings a wealth of culinary expertise … and leadership acumen to our Temecula winery resorts,” said Jeff Carter, president of Carter Hospitality, owner and operator of both resorts, in the statement.

For the last six years, Park was executive sous chef at The Pacific Club in Newport Beach. Before that he was chef de cuisine at Bosscat Kitchen and Libations in Newport Beach, according to the statement.
