Perris Opens Elementary School

Perris Mayor Daryl Busch joined officials from the Perris Elementary School District for a ribbon cutting at Clearwater Elementary School.

The K-6 grade campus at Nuevo and Murrieta roads cost $30 million to build and will serve 750 students when it opens officially on Aug. 18, according to a statement posted on the city’s website.

About 100 people, most of them parents, teachers, students and school board trustees, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony, according to the statement.
