Plasma donation chain lands in High Desert

A plasma donation center has opened in Victorville.

BioLife Plasma Services has leased 18,600 square feet in the Victorville Shopping Center at 12480 Amargosa Road, according to SharpLine, a boutique commercial real estate firm in Pasadena.

SharpLine represented 99 Cents Only Stores, the property’s landlord and previous tenant, in the lease negotiations. BioLife Plasma was represented by JLL.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Victorville Shopping Center covers more than 300,000 square feet and can be seen from Interstate 15. Its tenants include Bed Bath & Beyond, Hobby Lobby, PetSmart, and Party City.

BioLife Plasma collects plasma that is converted Into life-saving plasma-based therapies. It has been in business for more than 80 years and serves hundreds of thousands of donors every month, according to the company’s website.

99 Cents Only began marketing the Victorville site before it filed Chapter 11 in April, according to the statement.
