Popular ride-share business returns to Ontario airport

Uber has been added to Ontario International Airport’s transportation network.

“We are pleased to welcome Uber to Ontario International just in time for the busy holiday travel period,” Daniel F. Cappell, the airport’s chief commercial officer, in a statement. “As the population in the Inland Empire grows, we want to offer as many options as possible for accessing our airport.”

Anyone arriving at Ontario International by Uber are taken directly to their terminal and left curbside. Passengers who arrive by air may use a mobile app to get a ride, then follow the “Ride-Share Pick-Up Location” signs to the east end of each terminal’s inner curb.

Uber is the fourth ride app, along with Lyft, Wingz and Opoli, to offer transportation to and from Ontario International, according to the statement.
