Residents to weigh in on future priorities for Palm Springs

Residents to weigh in on future priorities for Palm Springs

Palm Springs residents are being asked to participate in the National Community Survey, which local governments use to question their residents on a range of topics.

Results of the survey, which will be conducted in two phases later this month, will give Palm Springs’ officials a better sense of how residents feel about the quality of life, economic development, public safety, how city hall operates and what the city’s top future priorities should be, according to a statement on the city’s website.

The first phase, which starts Thursday, includes mailers sent to 2,700 households, selected randomly. About a week later, those households will receive a link to take the online survey.

Open participation will begin the week of Sept. 20. This will be for all residents who were not in the random sample group, according to the statement.
