The Riverside Transit Agency is planning to hire 50 community bus drivers.
The agency is scheduled to hold a hiring event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 7 at the agency’s Hemet facility, 700 Scaramella Circle.
Drivers will operate the Agency’s mid-size bus fleet, which is made up vehicles less than 40 feet long. Pay starts at $26.27 a hour, with benefits that includes health, dental and vision insurance, CalPERS retirement, paid holidays and sick days, and basic life insurance.
Candidates are required to bring a valid, non-restricted Class C driver’s license, a DMV driver’s history printout issued within the last 30 days. That report is available from the DMV kiosk/online history printout process.
