San Bernardino library to hold annual sale

The Friends of the San Bernardino Public Library is scheduled to hold its summer books sale May 30 and June 6.

Both Saturday events are scheduled to be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Feldheym Central Library, 555 W. 6th St., according to a city statement.

Books, magazines, DVDs, music will be sold at discount prices. Most hardback books will be available for one dollar each, and paperbacks and children’s books will start at 25 cents each, or five for one dollar.

Most CD’s and DVD’s will be sold for $1. On June 6, the sale will feature the “fill the bag” promotion, where patrons will be able to fill a bag with books for only $3.

The book sale room is on the south side of the library.

For the first time, the book sale will accept credit cards, with a minimum $6 purchase required. For cash purchases, nothing larger than a $20 bill will be accepted.
