The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors welcomed two new members Monday.
Former Congressman Paul Cook and former State Assemblyman and Rialto Councilmember Joe Baca Jr., took the oath of office for four-year terms, according to a statement on the county’s website.
Dawn Rowe, who was appointed to the board in 2018, also began serving a four-year term.
Cook and Rowe were elected to the board in March, while Baca was elected last month. All three join Curt Hagman and Janice Rutherford on the board, which provides safety and other quality-of-life services to the county’s 2.2 million-plus residents.
Because of the pandemic, the swearing-in ceremony was limited to family and a few staff members and social distance requirements were observed, according to the statement.
