SBD to add Phoenix flights

Starting next year, Breeze Airways will begin offering flights from San Bernardino International Airport to Phoenix.

The flights to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport will operate Thursday and Sunday starting Feb.15, according to a statement on San Bernardino International’s website.

“New nonstop service to Phoenix from the San Bernardino International Airport is a welcome addition for Inland Empire residents,” said Frank J. Navarro, Colton mayor and San Bernardino International’s commission president, in the statement.

“The U.S. Department of Transportation ranked SBD as the most affordable airport in the nation, and a growing number of travelers .. continue to choose the airport for its convenience and low cost.”

Breeze Airways began operating nonstop service from San Bernardino International to San Francisco International Airport in August 2022, with those flights continuing to Provo. Utah.

Last February, Breeze started seasonal service from San Bernardino International to Las Vegas, with those flights proceeding to Hartford, Conn.
