SCLA building to serve as corporate headquarters

A 66,000-square-foot commercial building at the Southern California Logistics Airport in Victorville has been sold.

Exquadrum Inc., a defense contractor, bought the building for $4.3 million and will use it as its corporate headquarters, according to Stirling Capital Investments in Foothill Ranch, the airport’s master developer.

The seller’s name was not disclosed.

The building, at 13313 Sabre Blvd., is undergoing a renovation that is expected to be completed this month. Part of that work includes converting 9,000 square feet of the building into engineering and business offices and a conference center, and another 9,000 square feet into a machine and manufacturing area.

About 40 people are expected to work there.

“This is a milestone for us that will enable the further growth of our company and further demonstrates the aerospace, defense, and aviation presence at SCLA,” said Eric Schmidt, Exquadrum president, in the statement.

Exquadrum’s clients include the U.S. Air Force, the Missile Defense Agency and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, according to the statement.
