Jon Secada, the Grammy Award-winning singer, will perform Saturday at the first annual “Feliz Navidad” celebration in Ontario.
The scheduled performance is part of Ontario’s annual Christmas on Euclid Experience, which is scheduled to begin today with a Christmas Tree-lighting ceremony, according to a statement by the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitor Bureau.
Secada, who has sold more than 20 million records worldwide, will perform for free at the Ontario Town Square, which is at Euclid Avenue and C Street.
His performance is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. Anyone planning to attend should bring a lawn chair and blankets.
“We are ecstatic that Grammy Award-winner Jon Secada was available to perform,” said Michael Krouse, president and chief executive officer of the convention and visitors bureau, in a statement. “His music is well known. I am sure we will have a large crowd to enjoy this free community event.”
The convention and visitors bureau is the sponsor of the Christmas on Euclid Experience.
