The California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, which represents more than 800,000 Hispanic-owned businesses throughout the state, will hold its annual convention this week at the Riverside Convention Center.
About 3,000 people are expected to attend the event, which is scheduled to be held Wednesday through Friday at various locations throughout downtown Riverside, according to the convention’s website, chccconvention.com.
The theme of this year’s gathering is “Innovation Starts Here.”
The convention will focus primarily on technologies and new ideas that are changing industry and millennials who are finding their way in the businesses world, according to a statement on the convention website.
Attendees will attend workshops designed to help business owners. Topics will include tools for small business owners, energy and water issues and strengthening the chamber’s statewide business network, according to the statement.
