Stater Bros. is once again changing its hours of operation, this time regarding senior shoppers.
The San Bernardino-based supermarket chain, which has twice modified its hours because of the COVID-19 epidemic, will now have seniors-only shopping from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. Tuesdays and Fridays, according to a statement on the company’s website.
That change, which will take affect Tuesday, applies to all 169 Stater Bros. locations. Previously, exclusive shopping for seniors was from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. Monday through Sunday.
Stater Bros., the Inland Empire’s largest private employer, will continue to operate until 11 p.m. seven days a week.
“As we continue to navigate through these unprecedented times, we will always strive to meet the needs of all our customers, while remaining vigilant in maintaining their health and safety,” Pete Van Helden, chief executive officer, said in the statement.
