The Inland Empire’s largest private employer and its top entertainment venue have entered into a marketing agreement.
Staring this week, advertisements for Stater Bros. Markets are scheduled to begin appearing on Toyota Arena’s Interstate 10 marquee, overhead scoreboard, television monitors and website, according to a statement released today by arena officials.
The arena’s 10,000-square-foot North Patio, which hosts concerts by local bands and upcoming talent, will be rebranded, and the San Bernardino-based supermarket chain will join the food and beverage vendors at the arena.
The agreement was reached July 1. Terms were not disclosed.
“We are thrilled to welcome Stater Bros. Markets as a partner to Toyota Arena,” said Michael K. Krouse, president and chief executive officer of the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau, in the statement. “It’s a natural fit. [Stater Bros.] is our community’s grocery store of choice, and the Stater Bros. Charities provides non-profit organizations in our local region with support. We are on board to help as well.”
The 11,000-seat arena is owned by the city of Ontario. Besides hosting concerts and other entertainment, the venue is home to the Ontario Reign hockey team and Ontario Fury soccer team.
