Stater Bros. re-ups effort to prevent running out of items

Staters, Coca-Cola to help military families

Stater Bros. Charities is again partnering with Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling to conduct their Give Back program during May, which is National Military Appreciation Month.

During the program, the soft drink manufacturer will donate 25 cents for every purchase of Coca-Cola, Coke Zero Sugar, and Diet Coke in various sizes to the Bob Hope USO, according to a statement on the Stater Bros. website.

Reyes Coca-Cola is committed to raising up to $15,000, and Stater Bros. Charities has agreed to match that figure, for a total donation of $30,000 to Southern California military families in need.

“Stater Bros. Markets was founded by World War II veterans and led by a Navy veteran for over 30 years [the late Jack Brown], so supporting veterans, service members, and their families is very near and dear to our hearts,” said Danielle Oehlman, director Stater Bros. Charities, in the statement “We’re proud of our continuing partnership with Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling and delivering life-improving benefits for our country’s military and their families.”
