A San Francisco-based consultant is expected to report next month to the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors regarding the future of the San Bernardino County Museum in Redlands.
Museum Management Consultants, which entered into a $70,000 agreement with the county in May, is expected to advise the board on how the museum can keep its accreditation and stay in business, according to a report in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.
Recently the museum has been plagued by staff reductions and budget cuts.
Museum Management Consultants is expected to make its report to the board at end of next month, at which time the supervisors are expected to begin formulating a plan for the museum’s future, according to the report.
