A sushi chain has leased space in Rancho Cucamonga.
Umi Hotspot Sushi & Seafood Buffet has leased 11,500 square feet at 12499 Foothill Blvd. within the Foothill Marketplace, according to Progressive Real Estate Partners in Rancho Cucamonga.
The lease is for 10 years, with the restaurant expected to open in the spring of 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Progressive represented the property owner in the lease negotiations.
Besides sushi and seafood, Umi – ocean in Japanese – serves chicken and beef dishes, vegetables, and desserts. It’s open for lunch and dinner.
Foothill Marketplace is a shopping center anchored by Walmart and Food 4 Less. Its at the southeast corner of Interstate 15 and Foothill Boulevard across the street from Victoria Gardens.
About 150,000 vehicles pass by the future restaurant site on a typical day, according to Progressive.
