Target comes to Perris

Target comes to Perris

Target has opened a store in Perris, its first in the city.

The 150,000-square-foot market is part of the Plaza de Perris, 1688 N. Perris Blvd. according to Wood Investment Cos. in Newport Beach.

Wood Investment, which develops shopping centers, gutted a building formerly occupied by Regency Theatres to make room for Target.

The store opened July 26.

Plaza de Perris covers nearly 300,000 square feet. Its tenants include Burlington, Food 4 Less, Ross, Planet Fitness and Five Below.

“Redeveloping the former Regency Theatres into a state‑of‑the‑art Target has been a priority for us and for the city of Perris,”  said Patrick Wood, president of Wood Investment, in a statement. “This project reflects years of collaboration, planning and investment.”

The new Target include a full-service grocery section along with the chain’s customary clothing and home goods. It also features drive-up, order pickup, same‑day fulfillment and ship‑from‑store services, according to the statement.
