Tune in to The Main Event this Saturday Morning at 9:30 on AM590

Tune in to The Main Event this Saturday morning at 9:30 on AM590 with host Ed Hoffman as he discusses national current events and politics, with a few mortgage tips along the way. Ed delivers intelligent, entertaining radio that makes hard news easy to understand!

This week, Ed leads things off with a warning about HERO, a program that many Inland Empire talk radio listeners are accustomed to hearing about. “Unfortunately, this program is being sold on the premise that you can get all these repairs done to your house with no payments until next year,” Ed says. “I will tell you the HERO program creates problems; by the time your mortgage company figures out you have this on your tax bill, you’re two years late, they’re going to double the increase that you were expecting to your house payment, and the result will be like what happened with the sub-prime loans.” If you want to ask Ed more, call him at Wholesale Capital Corporation and say you’re a radio listener with questions for Ed; he will be glad to explain.

Next it’s on to discussing the week in politics. Regarding Hillary Clinton’s claim that she “short-circuited” in her Fox News Sunday interview, Ed says, “Would you buy a TV if it was advertised as being short-circuited? Then why would you put her in the White House?” He also plays a gaffe in which Clinton says our three branches of government are “federal, state and local.” “Is she stupid?” Ed says. “I’m pretty sure the three branches are executive, legislative and judicial.”

Ed is also talking about Hillary’s bigger problem this week: The conservative accountability group Judicial Watch has released 10 pages of never-before-seen emails that implicate the State Department for giving favors to big-money Clinton Foundation donors when she was Secretary. “Remember, Hillary has previously claimed that the Clinton Foundation is merely their ‘family charity’ with no ties to the State Department,” Ed says. “And don’t forget, this ‘charity’ collected hundreds of millions of dollars for Haiti and only 10% of it got to Haiti.”

If you aren’t aware of the smoking guns in these newly released emails, you can hear them on The Main Event this week as Ed breaks them down simply and in detail. These revelations lead Ed to say, “I’m thinking Judicial Watch is a group I want to donate to now – because unlike the Republican party, they actually do something.”

In the second half, Ed continues the story. If you were wondering why the FBI didn’t investigate this part of Hillary’s email scandal, you’ll be shocked to learn why on this week’s show. Here’s a hint: Somebody told them not to. Furthermore, sources have said that this was the very reason the FBI wanted to do the investigation into Hillary’s emails in the first place. “Can you believe no one is even talking about this? Your adult kids, friends and neighbors need to hear this before the election.”

On this week’s show, you’ll also hear:

  • What Wikileaks founder Julian Assange said about the possibility that murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich was his source for DNC email leak (and other intriguing news)
  • What Ed has to say about the response to Trump’s “2nd Amendment people” comment
  • What Ed says “should be the most forwarded link ever”
  • Who made an appearance at a candidate’s rally this week in Florida; you might be shocked.
