Vintage LA Dodgers to Help Honor People in Uniform

Members of all five of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ World Series championship teams are scheduled to attend an event next month that will honor men and women in uniform.

The gathering, which is being sponsored by the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce, will be held from 4-11 p.m. May 21 at Red Hill Country Club.

Cost is $50 per person and the event is open to the public, but advanced reservations are required. Advanced tickets are available at ranchochamber.org or by calling (909) 987-1012.

Former Dodger General Manager Fred Claire, Coach Mark Cresse, shortstop Bill Russell (1981 World Series) outfielder Lou Johnson (1965 World Series), pitcher Tim Leary (1988 World Series), outfielder-first baseman Ron Fairly (1959, 1963 and 1965 World Series) outfielder-third baseman Tommy Davis (1963 World Series) and Al Ferrara (1963 and 1965 World Series) are all scheduled to attend.
