Wells named Eastvale finance director/treasurer

Amanda Wells has been named Eastvale’s finance director/city treasurer.

Formerly the city’s accounting manager, Wells assumed her new duties Jan. 21, after being selected from among 23 applicants, according to a statement.

“She has already brought in new processes and streamlined procedures with her strong morals, integrity, and ethical characteristics and principles,” City Manager Bryan Jones said of Wells in a statement  “She is committed to our team and the community, and I am confident that her leadership, dedication, expertise, and experience will continue to elevate the city’s finance department.”

Wells began working for Eastvale in July. Before that she spent 14 years with Rialto, where she worked her way up to finance manager, according to the statement.
