Western Dental opens Victorville office

Western Dental & Orthodontics, a company that provides oral health care to adults and children through Medi-Cal, has opened an office in Victorville.

The downtown facility at 14678 Seventh St. is the third Western Dental facility in the High Desert and the 236th in California, according to a statement released this week.

“We’re pleased to be able to expand access to quality, affordable dental care for residents of Victorville and surrounding cities, including Adelanto, Hesperia and Apple Valley,” said Dr. John Luther, Chief Dental Officer of Western Dental, in the statement.

The recently constructed office includes 10 working spaces and exam rooms and four treatment rooms. Besides general dentistry and orthodontics, Western Dental provides oral surgery, dental implants pediatric dentistry, endodontics and oral hygiene services.

The Medi-Cal Dental program, known as Denti-Cal, provides health care benefits for more than 13 million individuals and families in California.

Western Dental has 335 offices in California, Texas, Arizona, Alabama and Nevada. The company, which also treats privately insured and uninsured individuals, serves about 2.5 million patient visits a year, according to the statement.
