Housing community to show first models

A gated community in Corona that will one day accommodate more than 1,600 home will display its first model homes Saturday.

Bedford, which is being developed by The New Home Company in Aliso Viejo, is located southwest of the Cajalco Road-Interstate 15 interchange according to a statement released Wednesday.

It will be the largest residential project of its size in Corona in more than 15 years.

Nine model homes in Bedford’s first three neighborhoods will be unveiled Saturday, along with Hudson House, the project’s community recreation facility. Bedford will also have parks, a multipurpose trail and paths for walking and cycling.

Houses will range from 1,200 to 3,100 square feet, with prices starting around $350,000, according to the statement.

Ten acres have been set aside for Bedford Marketplace, which will include retail, office and other commercial development.
