Student housing project changes hands

A student housing complex in Riverside has been sold.

Sterling Highlander, a 216-unit community at 3080 Iowa Ave., sold for an undisclosed sum, according to a statement.

Seattle-based Horizon Realty in Seattle was the buyer, The Dinerstein Cos. in Houston was the seller.

The pedestrian complex near UC Riverside consists of three four-story buildings and a clubhouse. It has nearly 231,000 square feet of rentable space and multiple high-end amenities, including a nine-foo ceilings, 42-inch flat screen televisions with Apple TV in each unity and a resort-style swimming pool.
