Survey: Ontario residents like their city

Ontario residents are apparently very happy with their hometown, according to the results of a recent study.

Nearly 86 percent of the respondents said they’re very satisfied or satisfied with city services, while almost 80 percent reported that Ontario is moving in the right direction, according to a statement posted on the city’s website.

Almost 75 percent of those surveyed by the Rose Institute of State and Local Government at the Claremont Colleges gave Ontario an 8, 9, or 10 ranking on a scale of one to 10.

“This first Resident Satisfaction Survey provides a baseline for Ontario to build upon our rich history as a model community,” said Mayor Paul S. Leon in the statement. “Moving forward, the feedback we get will be extremely valuable as we work to … maintain our level of services, attract more business and investments and remain a fiscally responsible organization.”
