Palm Springs hotline helps businesses hurt by pandemic

Palm Springs has opened a 24-hour hotline for local businesses hurt by COVID-19.

The COVID-19 Financial Aid Hotline is meant to help business owners complete their applications for the federal Paycheck Protection Program and California’s Small Business Grant Relief Program, according to a statement on the city’s website.

The hotline, which operates seven days a week, can be reached at (760) 323-8273 or via email at [email protected].

Callers should expect a response within 24 hours.

“The goal of this new hotline is to provide assistance to any business struggling to complete the application process during this difficult time,” said Jay Virata, director of community and economic development, in the statement. “We encourage anyone in need of help or advice to reach out and we will be ready and able to assist.
