Brian T. Mauntel has been named president of Citizens Business Bank.
A banking executive for nearly 30 years with an emphasis on commercial and business lending, Mauntel will oversee the Ontario-based bank’s specialty lending groups and 57 financial centers, according to a statement on the bank’s website.
He is scheduled to begin his new position April 26.
Mauntel spent 23 years with Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, where he was in charge of national business banking platform. Most recently he was president and chief operating officer of Heartland Bank in Whitehall, Ohio.
CVB Financial Corp. is the holding company for Citizens Business Bank. It is one of the 10 largest bank holding companies headquartered in California, with more than $14 billion in total assets, according to the statement.
