Riverside is continuing to reopen some facilities and increase hours at others, as COVID-19 shows some signs of receding.
Public utilities payment centers are now open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, starting Thursday at the Downtown Customer Service Center and the Casa Blanca Customer Resource Center, according to a statement on the city’s website.
The city clerk’s passport acceptance facility at 3025 Madison Street is open between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Appointments are required and can be made by calling (951) 351-6334.
The city’s One Stop Shop, which processes most development requests, is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, except Wednesday, when it’s open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. City libraries are also reopening in stages, although with limited services.
Riverside ratepayers who need help with customer benefit programs may call 311 or (951) 782-0330.
“These changes are a testament to the resolve of Riverside residents’ increased vaccinations and adherence to important health protocols,” Mayor Patricia Lock Dawson said in the statement. “I look forward to seeing our city open up even more as we continue to make this important progress.”
