Shanthi Srinivas has been appointed interim dean of Cal State San Bernardino’s Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration.
A professor emerita with more than 30 years in higher education, Srinivas replaces Lawrence C. Rose, who retired in July after serving as dean for 10 years, according to a statement on the school’s website.
“I am excited and honored to serve as interim dean of the nationally ranked and internationally recognized Jack H. Brown College,” Srinivas said in the statement “A college is a dynamic place with world-class faculty, staff, students, alumni, and industry partners.”
Srinivas retired from Cal Poly Pomona in 2016 as an associate vice president for academic planning, policy and faculty affairs.
A national search for a permanent dean is expected to begin this fall.
